Life as a theater, like a dream

I like to watched the glove puppet theater (or called the hand puppet theater) since I was a child. In the age of everything are deficient, 'Chivalrous swordsman from Yuan District' theater of Huang Chun-Hsiung had enriched the children imagination of that time. Decades go by, the theater had transmitted to his sons, the puppets are more delicate, scripts are more complicate and imaginative, making their steps of the theater into the movie and computer games, and even popular to overseas. Yet where the boys or girls are who ever wanted to give up their study in schools and go to the mountains to learn martial? As the Chinese movie title of 'The Puppetmaster' directed by Hou Hsiao-hsien, 'life as a theater, like a dream'. At the '2008 Love River Puppet Culture Festival' held by Kaohsiung Museum of History last month, I refreshed and updated my memory.
